Who translates?
Born in Canada to British parents, Julie Windebank was an early beneficiary of the Canadian French Immersion education programme and obtained a BA in Social Anthropology and Celtic Studies from the University of Toronto. Further studies in fine art along with several years’ work experience in the nursery industry enlarged her areas of expertise. Having lived and worked in the east and west of Canada, the United States, and Japan, Julie brings a lifelong interest in language and diverse professional experience to her career in translation.
